Can I return my artwork purchase?

  • ALL sales of original artwork is FINAL

  • I am more than happy to issue a refund or exchange your print for you but there will be a 20% (of the print) restocking fee for both instances. I am a print to order studio and try not to keep prints waiting in stock.

How long do I have to return/exchange my print?

  • I accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of you receiving your package. If you do not reach out within 7 days I will not be able to give a refund or exchange.

When will my replacement artwork ship? When will I receive my refund?

  • I will ship your replacement and/or issue a refund only after receiving your return.

What packaging should I use to ship my return?

  • I ask that you return your art in the original packaging that you received your print in. If you received your artwork on a tube please ship it back in the tube and it must have both end caps. If you received your artwork in a flat mailer please use the one I shipped or pick one up from your local post office.


What if my artwork has arrived damaged? What if my artwork was not delivered? What if my artwork was stolen from my doorstep?

  • I am not responsible for any failed delivery or mishandling my the shipping service (UPS or USPS). I package each order with care in mailer tubes or sturdy flat mailers so that your art arrives undamaged. I have no control over the treatment of your package in transit.

  • Damaged Print: I am happy to reprint and ship your order at no cost to you. I ask that you return the print to my studio in the original packaging or durable packaging purchased at your local post office.

  • Not Delivered - Lost - Stolen: If your package is marked "Delivered" but is nowhere to be found please check your confirmation email to make sure you input the correct shipping address. I am not able to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is not correct. - This does happen and it is not uncommon for the package to be returned to me, I would be happy to forward it to your correct address, though I ask you to pay for the postage. If the address is correct and you believe your package has been stolen, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, there is not anything that I can do on my end, so I would be unable to address any failed delivery or stolen package issues directly. I am unable to reprint any order for free that has been stolen, lost, or not delivered.

Who actually owns the painting/drawing?

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings.   I retain the right to make REPRODUCTIONS OF ANY AND ALL ARTWORK I CREATE UNLESS THE COLLECTOR HAS PURCHASED THE FULL OR PARTIAL RIGHTS TO THE ARTWORK (this is in addition to purchasing the original).  

The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission. 

If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit (and congratulations! that means your home is super beautiful!).

When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business (hooray!) but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.

Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting.  Some collectors chose to purchase my right to reproduce the artwork to ensure it will never become a print.  I am totally happy to discuss that with you if you would like!
